Pros and cons of Baseball Digest Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

Baseball Digest Magazine app good for

Great to see this available now. Been a reader of this mag for 40 + years & thrilled it is now in digital form. One problem, when I try to subscribe, I get an error message and can not complete the transaction. Please fix as I understand that with a yearly subscription we also gain access to 67 years of the magazine made available for viewing at the Google Books site.
Used to subscribe and read BD as a kid. This modern version still has the old form and greatness without the hassle of carrying issues with you since they are all on your device. Would love to see hockey digest and soccer digest return again

Some bad moments

Not in the content, but presentation. The text is not all that clear. It s fuzzy. Also, why doesnt the downloaded edition appear in the iPad newsstand?
keeps crashing faster than the red sox last year. reloaded as website suggested, still crashes. like the yanks contract with burnett, money down the drain
I have been reading Baseball Digest since Dale Murphy was a catcher. Great writing, fantastic stats and historical references. The app can definitely be improved with background loading and faster page rendering. The economics of it are screwy. There are six issues per year. The single issue cost is $1.99, so buying each issue for the year will cost $11.94. The yearly subscription price is double that. I think Ill keep the extra $12 and just buy each issue as it is released. Buy it for the great writing and cross your fingers that it will continue to be improved.
I bought this hoping I would have access to many Baseball Digest issues. All it is is one issue and you have to buy the rest. I hate apps that are just a waste~you have to buy something after you buy this app. It would be nice if iTunes could label these as this is not the first app I have wasted my money on.
I have a subscription to BBD so will I still have to pay? Crash and will not open after download
